This unique four bedroom maisonette underwent an incredible renovation transformation at the hands of Singapore renovation contractor Jiang Construction. Most of the walls were torn down and the 20-year old apartment structurally reconfigured.
Cosy, warm, earthen tones of Thai solid wood furniture and intricately woven Persian rugs add a splash of colour to the white walls and silver-white marble flooring of the open concept first floor. Well-curated paintings, antiques and sculptures add class and showcase the colourful personality of the homeowners.
A large framed mirror further expands the living room just as the visitor steps into the open kitchen, which is quietened to a bright and clean blend of maple, white and chrome. Past the kitchen, warmer hues of orange and wood welcome guests into the dining area, similarly decked out tastefully with paintings and Persian rugs.
Step through double glazed doors from the warm toned living area and onto the dark wooden deck of the balcony. Set into the deck in slate tiles is a swimming pool and water feature overlooking Sentosa and VivoCity through timber posts and stripped railings of alternating heights. Full laminate inch-thick glass railings are raised a metre high, reducing noise from passing traffic, blocking off a substantial amount of natural elements from the balcony while creating a classy borderless facade.
Allow your hand to trail along the curvature of the polished timber handrails as you glide up the curved staircase to the second floor seating area which overlooks VivoCity and Sentosa in a similar design to the living room.
